So today we are featuring Build a Treat, Build a Treat Borders, Birthday A la Carte, Sweet Party and the coordinating dies. Lots of birthday fun in store for today! As a reminder, TE stamps are made from top-quality deeply etched rubber in a cute shade of pink and come on EZ Mount already trimmed and ready to used with your acrylic blocks.
The first set that I am showing is the single image stamp: "It’s Your Birthday A la Carte" – another new Word A la Cartes to add to your collection! This is perfect for those last minute birthday cards and it's illustrated for the Whimsical Wishes line by Nancy McKinney. Another big bonus - It's only $5.95!!
I made a long card using papers from MME Lime Twist - Fly a Kite. I stamped and then cut out the image from a long rectangle Spellbinders Nestabilities die and then while still in the die, I used 5 copic colors to airbrush the background in a way similar to those multicolored kaliedoscope inks. I used a colorless blender to pull the color out of the lettering, so it appears almost white. Then for a little framing action, I used two cut out pennant border dies to hang over the image.
Next, I made a really fun and bright birthday card with the new set concepted by Sankari Wegman called Build A Treat. This set has a ton of different ways to build your own treats and borders... like build a bear, but with cupcakes and ice cream!! It was illustrated for Whimsical Wishes by Nancy McKinney and there is also a companion set - Build a Treat Borders! Both sets have coordinating dies for even more creative fun! I used the Build a Treat Borders dies for the row of ice cream cones on the bottom. These are full sized sets on a 5.75" x 8.5" full color sturdy storage panel - Build a Treat includes 30 images and sentiments to build the treats of your dreams. Build a Treat Borders includes 5 borders - each approximately 6" long with options for both coloring and solid stamping. Serious cuteness here!!
There are also two other coordinating dies -- Build a Treat Tops and Bottoms - which has 10 dies to cut out the images from the stamp set and Tiny Topper Taylored Dies-- which are 6 adorable shapes for year round fun!!
I just stamped the top of my cone on a post-it--- cut it out and started from the top, covering what I previously stamped all the way down the line to build my perfectly stacked cone! (There's even a mint chocolate chip in there!) --- It's covered with glossy accents and so there is a fun shine to the whole cone! Papers are all from MME Lime Twist - Life of the Party!
Now let's join the rest of the party and see what they've been up to! Here's the Baker's Dozen minus Karen Motz (while she moves!)... plus Jen Shults and Jami!
