August Release At a Glance
  • We have sneak peeks to share Monday through Wednesday.  All of the new products will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 4th at 8 am PST. You'll find it all in the Fresh out of the Oven Department at the Taylored Expressions Store.
  • Join us as a fan on Facebook for an early peek at the stamp sets, as well as a SPECIAL Facebook GIVEAWAY, on Wednesday night beginning at approximately 6 pm PST.
  • Angel Bundle Prize Drawing: We're very excited to be supporting the Angel Tree with Joy to the World, the newest set in the TE Giving Tree Program.  If you'd like to be entered to win our Angel Bundle Prize Pack (Joy to the World Full Sized Stamp Set, Angel Kisses Taylored Card Kit, and the Musical Swirls Taylored Impression Plate) simply click over to the Angel Tree website and find the answer to this question: "Name the founder of Angel Tree." (You'll want to read the touching story of how Angel Tree got started while you're there!)  E-mail Taylored Expressions with the answer in the subject line of your e-mail by Wednesday at 6pm PST.  The winner will be announced on Taylor's blog at approximately 10 pm PST Wednesday night.

Today, we are introducing full size sets, Embrace Beauty and Bugabee... along with some AWESOME coordinating die sets and a versatile embossing plate.

The set I used for today is Bugabee... an adorable set concepted by Charmaine Ikach (from our own Baker's Dozen) and illustrated by Taylor for the TE collection.  It's a full size set with 27 images/sentiments.  You can create all sorts of fun and adorable combinations with these cute stamps.  What's even better is that there are also coordinating dies including the Bugabee Bugs Dies, Bugabee Flower Dies, and a 6" Grass border die!  Everything you need to create an adorable garden inspired card!  I used all of these on the card I made today featuring papers from Jillebean Soup Blossom collection.  I stamped the flowers and then stamped and die cut the smaller flower layers for inside.  The ladybug was stamped and die cut into two pieces... and the grass is actually the reverse piece from another card I made using the grass as well.. No waste! :)
I didn't use it on this card, but we are also introducing the Lots of Dots Impression Plate today which is going to be a plate you can use on almost every card!  Two sizes of dots (one design on each side) and with the Embossing Pad Kit you get a nice deep impression on your card stock.  (By the way, do you know that blogger spellcheck changes that to yardstick if you put it as all one word... very annoying... I think we need to request a Stamper/Scrapbooker spellcheck version! :)

Before I go, here is a link to the amazing talent of the Baker's Dozen so you can see more samples!!

Thanks for stopping by!
