Hello!! Today marks the start of a crazy preview week-- tons of eye candy to come and lots of new must-have's!! On the menu at Taylored Expressions today is a fabulous line up of dies and a very special stamp set release from the Whimsical Wishes line. This special set is the newest in the TE GIVING TREE series which help support various charities. This is such a fabulous way to give back, especially when you get an incredible stamp set in return and this month, the TE Giving Tree Set is called COZY COTTAGES.
When you purchase this adorable set during the months of February, March, and April, you will be supporting HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing. Churches, community groups and others have joined together to successfully tackle a significant social problem – decent housing for all. Habitat for Humanity is a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing, having built more than 350,000 houses, sheltering more than 1.75 million people in more than 3,000 communities worldwide. Please visit www.habitat.org for more information on this incredible charity. Taylored Expressions will donate $7.00 to Habitat for Humanity for each Cozy Cottages stamp set sold in the next 3 months. (As a reminder, TE Giving Tree stamp sets are the only TE sets that come in sheet form and need to be trimmed, this allows us to donate more to charity!) I used the 'Whimsy Tree image', Mushroom cottage, and the Home Sweet Home sentiment for my card and to coordinate with the adorable, whimsical cottages in this set, we have THREE new die cuts previewing today. I used all three on my card and they include the "Whimsy Tree' (can you imagine cutting that out otherwise!?!), the picket fence (tons of uses for this!!), and the cloud duo dies (I LOVE the size and shape of the clouds!!)
For my card, I used my shiny new GRAND CALIBUR and Grand Nestabilities Label One dies to cut the shaped card. I love how easily you can make fun shaped cards with the Grand Calibur!! I cut out the clouds, whimsy tree, and fence... all in one swipe through the Grand Calibur machine vs. three separate ones, which is a huge time saver!!
Details of all of the materials that I used are listed at the bottom, but before I go, I want to show you the 'TINY CHEFS" in my house and let you know that while you are coloring with your new Cozy Cottages set, you can also purchase a matching color book for your tiny chef's at home-- they will be sold for $2.99 and they have matching images from several of the TE stamp sets.
Before I go, just a reminder that everything will be available for purchase on Friday February 4th at 8:00 am PST... so get your lists ready!! Come back tomorrow to see more and stop by the rest of the Baker's Dozen to see more from the Tiny Chef's and Baker's Dozen (including Nancy- Whimsical Wishes artist.)
