A fond farewell!!

Well hello again!!  As many of you know, I've been busy making some changes in my life with a new(ish) business, running the normal Wild kid craziness, heading up our school PTA board, and all the other tasks that come along with life.  I had to make some decisions to better manage life and allow me to spend time with my kids, vs hiding out in my craft room.  Now I of course am always creating, but now my craftiness is in new fun sets for my photography clients, stamping on on all my cute new packaging for my photography clients, and of course, making the occasional card here and there!!

Taylored Expressions has always had a very special place in my heart (as did several of the amazing companies I worked with), but I've had the pleasure of not only meeting Taylor and Jon, but I've photographed their adorable little girl, spent time with them in their home, and lots and lots of time talking online and working with the amazing company they've built.  I will always support them and wish everyone on the design team the very best!  I leave with amazing memories (and lots of adorable stamp sets)! :)

As anyone who followed my blog the last several years knows, my love is in coloring... so the Moka's are my absolute favorites.  I had a baby shower for my Sister-in-Law's co-worker earlier this month, so I put together a cute little announcement for her using one of my favorite Moka's.  I also am sharing a few of my favorite cards from Taylored Expressions as I say my good-bye for now to the stamping world.  You can always find me on my FB business page: www.facebook.com/wildphotographybytori

My project today brought me back to my stampin' start!  I can remember the very first stamping party that I went too, the consultant taught us the Rock-n-Roll technique with solid color stamps and I just thought that was pretty much the coolest thing I had ever seen!  I have a soft spot in my heart for doing that technique with solid images and this GORGEOUS new set called OOPS-A-DAISY (from Nancy McKinney's Whimsical Wishes) is just AH-MAH-ZING!! It's a full set of 20 sentiments and images and I used paper from My Mind's Eye called Blink of an Eye.   The edges were airbrushed with copics and I used Memento Inks in the colors: Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves, Potter's Clay, and then I colored the center with a brown copic.

My first project for today uses the set Lakeside Lodge in the Apple Doodles Ink line by Doug Applegate.  This was a concept by Jami Sibley and features a fun lakeside house with a dock, waves, and images perfect for retirement, Father's Day and relaxation.  I used papers from MME Blink of an Eye and the Wave Border die.  I also added a little glossy accents on the roof (apparently there was a tidal wave that washed over my little seaside retreat!)  

Next up is a new Father's Day FREE digi that we are featuring this month.  Size it however you'd like, print it out, and add a little color to match your paper.  It makes a quick and easy card that even the kids can help with!

The Father's Day Digi is FREE with the purchase of any May Release Bundle and there are several to choose from.  The Digi is not being offered for sale.   You will download both an open line image and a 2nd pre-colored image for super fun, quick cards and projects.  You will also be able to download an inspiration sheet showing all of the projects created by the Baker's Dozen this week.  Be sure to check out the Bundle Options on the Specials page on Release Day, Thursday.

I used the Loyal Project Pantry (which is described below) and added a couple of medium scallop borders and a Fancy Buckle die to tie it all in.

My project for today uses the set FAR OUT with the Embracing Grace line by Emily Burger.  This is a full set of 21 images/sentiments.  This is such a cute and quirky take on robots with tons of possibilities with the sentiments ranging from birthday, get well, to love and more.  I also featured the new SPROCKET dies which paired so well with the BOYS ONLY Doodlebug Designs paper.
